ELLESTE100 is a newly formed quartet rooted in Zurich, bringing a fresh and playful energy to the city’s music scene. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Robert Glasper and Moses Yoofee, the band moves fluidly between jazz, groove, and their own take on quantum-geological aesthetics. Their music combines openness and precision, with an emphasis on interaction and the joy of creating together. The quartet consists of Laura Schäfer on drums, Chris Gebhard on bass, Liam Haller on guitar, and Loïc Cardinal on keys. With curiosity and a love of exploration, they shape a sound that feels contemporary while leaving space for surprise.
